BCG approaches custom residential construction as a collaboration between people and disciplines. A composed house depends on sound planning, clear communication, appropriate materials, careful assemblies, and consistent field oversight. The goal is not simply to complete a project, but to build a home that belongs to its architecture, its site, and the life it will support.

Materials, proportions, transitions, and finish work are studied as parts of a whole rather than selections applied at the end.
Building science + quality control
BCG cares equally about the parts of a home people see and the parts they never see. Moisture, air, structure, insulation, flashing, and systems coordination determine whether the visible work lasts.
Communication + stewardship
Clear budgets, schedules, decisions, photographs, and documentation help owners understand the work without being asked to manage it. Care continues through closeout and long-term home stewardship.
Owner
Kyle Burns
Kyle Burns is a Baton Rouge native and a graduate of Louisiana State University with a degree in Construction Management. His professional background began in construction before progressing into residential building and the work that became Burns Construction Group.
He has been involved in the construction of more than 60 homes. That experience informs a practical, detail-conscious approach to planning, architecture, building science, materials, project management, craftsmanship, and the client’s experience throughout the work.
BCG remains small by design. Kyle stays closely involved so the owner, design team, trades, and field decisions remain connected from the first conversation through completion and long-term care.
