Framing over Finishes

Finish selections are easier to see, but structure determines whether the finished work can stay true. Straight walls, level floors, clean openings, and disciplined framing make better millwork and better architecture possible.

A strong frame also gives mechanical, plumbing, and electrical trades a better path through the house. Fewer compromises are made later because fewer mistakes are buried early.

What gets covered up matters most.
